Happy September

How did we get here? I know it's totally cliche to say this, but it really does feel like time speeds up as you age. Wasn't it just May?

My life has been a literal and figurative tornado of mess. And I mean that in a benign sense. It's just overload - where everything is fine - it's just time for some necessary tinkering.

And in the literal sense, that includes replacing my tornado/hail-damaged roof as a preventative measure. A task that has been so incredibly tedious that I don't even want to go into details. I'd punch a baby in the face to make it be all over by tomorrow. I'd punch two to make it end five minutes from now. Soon. Hopefully. (The roof replacement, not the baby punching.)

As for my actual real, live life....well that's just a bit disheveled. I've deviated from my everyday boringness and find being a little out of routine to be like a friendly game of trial and error. But, that's the good part - I'm trying. I'm doing new things. It's been a while, and it's not always easy and it's not always fun, but it feels like growth. No, not like a mole, like the existential type.

Alive and Kicking

Wow, I've been a total a-hole to my blog here, haven't I? Guess I should step it up a bit. Saw The Hangover last night. Yeah, I know I'm way behind the curve, but I've been busy. Oddly, the theater was still packed this many weeks later, so it must still be doing well. It was hilarious. If you need a good laugh, go see it! :-)

Technically, yes. But, we're having a "blizzard" today, so I'm really ready for summer.

A little bit. My house's streetview was on trash day. Lucky me...you can see my garbage.

I don't like ice cream much.

When I do get an urge, probably chocolate chip or Chocolate Fudge Brownie or Cherry Garcia.

Yes. Almost every day.

Beaches. Animals - specifically dogs - the ability to live in the moment and always be happy and ready to play.

In a house on the beach - nothing extravagant, just comfortable. With my family and friends near me.

Not really sure. No one reads it. Probably to keep an outlet for writing when I have an idea, or to kill boredom.

As a vegetarian, I'm not really adventurous in the eating arena.

Nothing. I really am that boring.

All types of band aids, gauze and tape. The tape is for Lucy's "happy" tail.
