Cherry Creek Sneak #6

Well, on Sunday I ran in the Cherry Creek Sneak for the 6th year in a row. Pretty amazing. I haven't been keeping up with my running these past few months, so it was a lot tougher than usual, but I made it. I probably wouldn't have done it, if it weren't for Jessica saying, "It's your sixth year...you can't stop now."

The wrapper to my m&ms.

5. What was the last website (besides this one) that you visited?
Shutterfly.com to check on my order.

Earth Day
Well, yesterday was Earth Day and I didn't see anything about it anywhere. That's sad. Jessica and I exchanged online cards - at least we remembered.

Friday Five [courtesty of fridayfive.org]

1. Who is your favorite celebrity?
I like a lot of celebrities. Some of my favorites are: Trey Parker, Matt Stone, Alan Cummings, Kid Rock, Jimmy Falon, David Spade, Conan O'Brien, Amy Poehler, Adam Sandler, Will Ferrell and tons more. I don't think I could pick one favorite.

2. Who is your least favorite?
I'm not fond of Mariah Carey, Tom Cruise, Jennifer Anniston, or Penelope Cruz.

3. Have you ever met or seen any celebrities in real life?
Yes, I've met a few. They're just like everyone else.

4. Would you want to be famous? Why or why not?
Yes, because then I wouldn't need to have a desk job. :-)

5. If you had to trade places with a celebrity for a day, who would you choose and why?
I wouldn't want to trade places.

Water Restrictions

Water restrictions will prevent our beautiful new home from having a beautiful new yard. It looks like our home will be flanked by mud until 2004. What a bummer. A total muddy bummer.

1. What was the first band you saw in concert?
The Rolling Stones in 1989.

2. Who is your favorite artist/band now?
I like all types of stuff, but I always seem to pop in "Cocky" by Kid Rock.

3. What's your favorite song?
I have tons, but if I had to narrow it down, "Who Are You?" by The Who.

4. If you could play any instrument, what would it be?
Drums.

5. If you could meet any musical icon (past or present), who would it be and why?
I think that the Blink 182 guys would be a lot of fun. Does Adam Sandler or Jimmy Falon count as musicians, because I would love to meet them.

And then there was....a door
We got a door put on our master bathroom today. It's not pretty (yet), but it's a door. I mean, really, who doesn't put a door on the entry to the master bathroom? The guy who originally designed this house made some truly odd choices.

Friday Five[courtesy of fridayfive.org]

1. How many houses/apartments have you lived in throughout your life?
Five houses, seven apartments.

2. Which was your favorite and why?
I would have to say the house we lived in on Long Island from 1976-1997. I grew up there, I have wonderful memories and it was 20 minutes from the beach.

I also love my parent's current house. I'm so happy that they were finally able to get a bigger, more beautiful house.

But, I did buy my first house in January, so it is probably well on its way to becoming my favorite house.

3. Do you find moving house more exciting or stressful? Why?
I find it to be heavy on both of those, but I think exciting wins out by a hair.

4. What's more important, location or price?
They are both equally important, but if I had to pick one, it would be location.

5. What features does your dream house have (pool, spa bath, big yard, etc.)?
BIG back yard, vaulted ceilings, pretty kitchen, no hardwood, no linoleum, and a three car garage.

Bath and Body Works and Payless Shoes
These are my two latest obsessions. I've never been so materialistic, but lately I can't get enough of either store.
