Photographic Evidence of Lucy in the snow
It snowed and stuck for the first time this year. Lucy was a little confused at first as to why her backyard was covered in white cold stuff. But, within five seconds she was having a great time prancing around like a little bunny.

The Heat is Back!
For three days, I was without heat in my house. It was so flippin' cold, I constantly had goosebumps. Since we've only been in the house for 10 months, everything is still under warranty. So, some heating guys came out to the house and it turns out that the problem was that we had never changed the filter. Hee hee. Stupid new homeowners. I guess it was so full of crap, that it flipped a switch. (a good thing - that switch keeps the house from burning down.) So, now I will be sure to change the filter often, because being without heat totally sucked.
I would rather be too hot than too cold any day.

Welcome to the Family, Angus!
Mom and Dad got a puppy this weekend. Thanksgiving is going to be crazy with their new 10-week old puppy and my 8-month old one. Here are some photos
of the little guy.

Affected by Music
I'm in one of those phases right now where music really affects my mood. It's kind of annoying. So, I've been sticking to the hard rock/hip hop/rap. No downer music. :-)

Kid Rock and Chewed Up Armrest
Got the new Kid Rock CD. It's really good. Pretty mellow for him. Lots of country/bluesy stuff. I really dig it. It's only $9.98 at Target this week. Because I'm a total dork, I went there at 8am when it opened yesterday. It was weird, there was a Target team rally in the front of the store and they were doing all sorts of exercises and talking about what they all plan to do for Thanksgiving. It kind of had a cult-ish vibe. A lot of them seemed uncomfortable, but a bunch of them were really into it.
And in Lucy news, she was left out of the crate last week and proceeded to chew the armrest off the loveseat. She tore out the stuffing and started gnawing on the wood. It looks horrible. The couch is insured, but of course it does not cover things caused by pets. So, now I need to call a furniture repair place to come fix it. I swear that it looks like an alien popped out of it. It's insane how badly she chewed it.

The guy finally got off my shoulders
For quite a few days, I felt like I had a big fat guy sitting on my shoulders. Last night I finally feel like he finally got up and walked away. Very strange. Also got some sad news, that JP's uncle has passed away. My heart goes out to the Baker family.

Took Lucy to the dog park yesterday and she is doing better around other dogs. Still timid, but is starting to be a bit more brave. She is in amazing runner. She can out-run any dog that she encounters. And all the boy dogs think that she's soooooo pretty. :-)
