Last day of 2003
On this last day of 2003 I'd like to wish everyone a very wonderful and happy 2004! I'm sick sick sick, so I'll be spending the evening in the luxury of my sick sick sick bed. I'm guessing that I might not even make it up until midnight. I'm such a party animal. I HATE BEING SICK. Booo. :-)

I hope that everyone has a Merry Christmas and a Happy Hannukkah! (I probably won't be posting for a few days, so I'm putting the message out early.)

In the past month, I have probably seen at least four shooting stars. It's really kind of weird - but I LOVE it. I saw a couple when I was driving to Texas, and I've seen a couple here in Colorado. When I see them, I get that butterfly-ish feeling and I'm not really sure why. I've always loved astronomy and things related to the stars, so I'm really quite amazed at how many I've seen lately. I know that it's supposed to bring good luck, and I could really use some.

A little further along
Got a bunch of presents wrapped, packed up, and on their way to the intended recipients. Yay. Now, I still have to figure out what to get Mom and Dad. They're sooooooo hard to shop for.

1. Do you enjoy the cold weather and snow for the holidays?
Absolutely. Who wouldn't? I didn't mind the warm weather either, though, when we lived in California.
2. What is your ideal holiday celebration? How, where, with whom would you celebrate to make things perfect?
Being with my family is all that I need. It doesn't matter where or how.
3. Do you do have any holiday traditions?
We all open one gift on Christmas Eve. We also watch Scrooged and Christmas Vacation.
4. Do you do anything to help the needy?
Yup. I give toys to needy kids and donate to the shelters.
5. What one gift would you like for yourself?

Kick-Ass Tires Kick Ass
I got new tires put on my car about two months ago and I just have to say that they kick so much ass in the snow. So much.

1. Do you like to shop? Why or why not?
No. I'm not a big shopper. I do sometimes like shopping online though. If I'm in the mall longer than an hour I feel carsick.
2. What was the last thing you purchased?
A beer at Garcias, oh and gas at BP.
3. Do you prefer shopping online or at an actual store? Why?
I prefer to shop online because it's so much easier (and usually cheaper.) But, sometimes you need to physically touch/feel/see what you're going to buy and that's when an actual store comes in handy. :-)
4. Did you get an allowance as a child? How much was it?
Yes. Man, I don't remember.
5. What was the last thing you regret purchasing?
Black eyeshadow. Looks terrible.
I tried to post this yesterday, but it didn't go:
Since I haven't bought any Christmas presents for anyone, I went out to www.zappa.com
to see if there was anything new that I could buy for Dad. Well, the homepage was very odd and I couldn't get past it. Turns out that it was the 10th anniversary of Frank Zappa's death. Very strange that I chose yesterday to look.

I decorated the house last night. Put up the few decorations that I have and taped some lights to the inside of the front window. Lucy did not like the talking "Douglas Fir" tree. She howled at it. Hee hee. I can't believe that I haven't done any Christmas shopping yet. Usually, by now, I'm wrapping gifts and mailing them off. I'm very far behind. I feel like I have missed a whole month somewhere.

Thanksgiving and Puppies
Thanksgiving was great. Jessica and I drove down to Texas so that Lucy could come along. Loooooooong drive. It was so worth it, because Lucy and Mom and Dad's new puppy got along swimmingly. Murphie was quite crabby at first, but she slowly came around to a [very] low tolerance. Here's a couple of pics of our precious little puppies having fun.
