JP decided to be some kind of skeleton/robey thing and I ended up being a beer girl in the St. Pauli style. Check out the pics from Ti's party
Rather Not Know
Did you ever know something that you really wish that you didn't know because you were much happier when you didn't know? The whole ignorance is bliss type thing. And you thought the information didn't affect you until it manifested itself in a nightmare where someone decapitates your dog and you go completely medieval on their ass? I really thought I didn't care but I guess deep down inside I do. Repressed and misdirected anger expressed in an unconscious state.

Happy Birthday, Paul!
I think you read this once in a while...hopefully you'll see this! :-)

Random Thought --- and a note to my future rich self
Why, why, why, would anyone pay an incredible amount of money for a purse? I just don't understand. I was browsing through my weekly People magazine and saw a little blurb about Lindsay Lohan (or however you spell her name) and she had bought a purse worth around $5,000. Why? Why would you waste that kind of money on a small little purse? I think I'd have a heart attack if I ever paid more than $15 for one. It makes no sense to me to spend that kind of money on something so insignificant. Silly people.

Pretty Days, Lack of Costume, Feeling Blah
Today is just so gorgeous out. I know tomorrow is supposed to be crappy so I'm guessing this will be one of Colorado's last days of the year in the mid 70s. It truly is a shame when we're all trapped inside working on days like this.
In other news, I still don't have a costume for Halloween and I have a party to go to on Saturday night. I'm sure I'll find one, and of course, I wouldn't be me if I didn't wait until the last minute.
And I'm feeling ick lately. Bleah, blah, yuck. Hopefully it will go away soon - maybe with a good hard workout tonight. But, I've been so sleepy lately so I don't think I've been too energetic. I am looking forward to catching up on sleep this weekend.

We headed out to Las Vegas over the weekend and had a great time with Amy and John. I didn't gamble very much, because I'm not a big gambler, but I did enjoy watching other people gamble. :-) As Jon-Paul puts it, "You put your money in the slot machine, it goes, 'Yum, yum, yum, yum, yum......burp.'"

I know I have been a slacker about posting lately. I've been really busy. Apologies. And apologies for the next few days because there will be no updates until probably Tuesday. Mom and Dad get back from Cabo tomorrow....hope they had a great time with Donna and Klaus.
In Lucy news, she has officially mauled all of our couches. I cried for about an hour the other day when I came home and saw that she chewed up the one couch that she had always left alone. Dogs chew. I have to deal with that. But it sucks! :-)

Please Don't Feed the Heather
Don't hand me a package of orange tic tacs and expect to get any back. There's something in my animal nature that always makes me eat the whole package in less than 5 minutes.

I had a severe case of the giggles today. Especially after lunch...Amy made some quacking noises that just set me off and it didn't stop for the rest of the afternoon. Little things would make me laugh...big things would make me laugh. I'm glad I didn't have any important meetings today. I would have seemed incredibly immature.
Just about done
As always, I've procrastinated the cleaning-of-the-house-before-Mom-and-Dad-arrive. I'm just about done with the last load of laundry. Did I spell that right? I'm too tired to go look it up. The house is clean, I've got some snackity snacks and my back hurts. :-)
The month of colored leaves, pumpkins, costumes and candy!
