On my run/walk yesterday I got to thinking. When there is a LOST PET sign posted on a sign or lamp post, I stop and read it, in case I pass said dog or cat on my walk. There were a bunch posted over the three-day weekend and I kept my eye out. Yesterday, I noticed that a lot of these signs were gone. (Some were still there, so I don't suspect some neighborhood covenant nazi.)
that these dogs were found. But, how do I know? It'd be nice if when you take the sign down, you put a follow-up sign there for saps like me. I want to know that you found Fido. My heart would do a happy cartwheel and it would make my night. Granted, it would be sad if it was a sad/tragic ending, but it would be nice to know.
It's all about me

Friday Five 1. Where did you grow up?
Long Island, New York. 2. Have you ever been to Indiana?
Not for an extended amount of time - but we drove through it when I was in 8th grade.3. Describe yourself at age 18:
Naive, smart, goofy, and so ready to go to college.4. How do you deal with pain?
I power through it. I've been told by doctors that I have a high tolerance for pain. Yeah, I'm proud of it. 5. When is the last time you screwed up?
Not sure. It's probably a daily occurrence on some level. :-) (kinda kidding)
Hola! Como Esta?
I'm back. Snuck off to Cabo for a week. (again) It was fantastic. Actually, it surpassed fantastic, but I don't know what word that would be. :-) Everything was wonderful and colorful and warm
Right now I *should* be off buying dog food and/or working out. Neither of which happened this evening. I just didn't have it in me. Just felt like parkin' it on the couch and popping Raisinettes. The working out begins tomorrow. I swear. Maybe. I did watch the three hours of "Grey's Anatomy" that my trusty DVR recorded for me while I was in Mexico. Seriously, that show never fails to have me bawling like a baby and assessing my own life. Which helped ease my guilt of not going to PetSmart or going for a run.
Okay, gonna go off and not do much of anything for the rest of the evening. Well, except obsess over how chunky I'm feeling and debate with myself about everything swirling in my head. You know, typical Monday night. ;-)
I got Hudson when he was about a year and a half old, so I never got to see him as a puppy. I bet he was a crazy adorable puppy so I did a GIS and found a pic of what I assume he would have looked like. It makes me ache, it's so frickin' cute!
Friday Five1. Have you ever been to Mexico?
Si. And I'm going again soon.2. Do you know anyone who is currently in the military?
Yes. 3. What is the last party you attended?
SuperBowl party, I think? Not really sure.4. What do you think about President Bush saying that the United States' National Anthem should only be sung in English?
It should be sung however someone wants to sing it. That's the beauty of freedom of speech.5. French fries or freedom fries?
Today is my 5 Year Blogiversary!
Holy Crap, I've been blogging for 5 years today.
I am in class all this week. It is very hard so far. My brain hurts.
