How Much is that Doggie in the Window?

Hudson has been incredibly antsy lately. He is always hyper and in need of attention, but this week, it's been amplified. His constant under-footness has frustrated me to a not-like-me degree in the past couple of days. Last night I slept like a log. (Thank you Grey Goose L'Orange!) Because I got so much sleep, I remember some of my dreams.

I had a dream that I was volunteering at a dog shelter. I guess for one reason or another, I brought Hudson with me. I was doing all kinds of work around the shelter and I was getting ready to leave and grab Hudson, when one of the workers said that I couldn't take him because he had been "held" for adoption for some little girl's birthday the next day. I was like, "Oh no, Hudson is *my* dog, he's not available for adoption." The volunteers said it was too late, that they had already promised him to the family. I FREAKED out. They were not going to take my precious puppy away from me!! I forced my eyes open, as I usually do from most nightmares and right there - in my face - was Hudson's tongue. I was never so happy to receive his slimey wake-up kiss. I cuddled with my boy a little longer than usual this morning. Lucy got in on the action too. Then it turned into dog wrestling and the love fest ended. :-)
