Please, please, please spay and/or neuter your pets!

"By making sure that your pet can't have puppies or kittens, you'll have peace of mind that his or her offspring won't be euthanized in an animal shelter."

Friday Fiver

1. Favorite shoes?
Flip flops. But I did buy a rockin' pair or red summer shoes the other day. I cannot wait to find a reason to wear them - and the weather to wear them.

2. What time does the sun set near you?
It's getting alittle later lately - thank god- about 5:30 or so.

3. Do you like spending time in the sun?
Yes. Especially on a beach.

4. Do you burn or tan?
Both. But if I use sunscreen on my face and chest I'm usually good.

5. Monopoly: yay! or no way!

Friday Fun: Clotheshound Edition From here

1. Do you have to dress for work? If so, what is your “uniform”?
Yes - business casual. Except Fridays. After working in a flip-flop and jeans atmosphere for nearly 6 years, this is definitely a difficult transition.

2. How would you describe your style when dressing for yourself, rather than work?
Casual, surfer-ey. Beachy.

3. I have noticed that there seem to be two kinds of dressers in the winter months. Those who love turtlenecks and those that abhor them! Which are you?!
I'm middle-of-th road, but mostly I don't wear them.

4. It’s lounging time on the couch in the evening. What are you wearing?
Sweats and a sweatshirt or PJ bottoms and a long-sleeved pajama top.

5. Describe your favorite “feel good” outfit!
Great fitting jeans and a flattering black top.(with minimal visible dog hair)

Saturday Six from here

1. You sit down at a restaurant table and notice a $5 bill tucked away — apparently a tip left by a previous patron — that the wait staff missed. How likely would you be to keep the five bucks for yourself?
I never keep it. I always give it to the waiter/waitress.

2. Do you think that your friends know more gossip about you, or that you know more about them?
Pretty equal. I might know a little more about them.

3. If you could, would you prefer to reverse your answer to Question 2?
Nah. Don't really care.

4. Take the quiz: Are you virtuous? The quiz told me that I'm "Mostly Virtuous."

You Are Mostly Virtuous

You are a good person, or at least as good as you can be.
You try to do the right thing, and you have ended up with many virtues.

While you are virtuous, you aren't a saint.
There's definitely a bit of devilishness deep in your heart!

Where You Are Virtuous

You have the virtue of Justice. You treat other people fairly, even when you don't feel like it.

You have the virtue of Resolution. You are determined to do what you should, no matter how difficult it is.

You have the virtue of tranquillity. You do your best to keep your life peaceful and calm.

Where You Are Not Virtuous

You lack the virtue of Moderation. You are attracted to extremes of all sorts.

You lack the virtue of Chastity. You aren't guarded when it comes to intimacy.

You lack the virtue of Silence. You talk too much, and your words aren't as valuable as they could be.

5. You see a new product come out you really want, but it’s a little outside of your price range. (Let’s say that it costs about $300 or so.) How likely are you to wait until you have the full price saved before you go and buy it?
If I want something and it's not crazy outrageous - I usually buy it after finding it for the best price.

6. You go out with friends to a going-away party for a colleague, and it is held at a local pub. How likely are you to drink at least to the point of feeling a “buzz”?
Very likely.

2. What do you have to do right?

3. Have any kids?
Nope. Don't want any.

4. Are you patient?
Yes, to a fault at times.

5. Friday fill-in:
I know if I put my mind to it ______.

I can accomplish it.
